The series „Astronimals“ consists of 9 pictures. Each set of 3 images is associated with the same stencil and shares the same basic motif: Ham, an American chimpanzee. Laika, a Soviet dog. Felicette, a French cat. All three share the commonality of being test astronauts/cosmonauts. The works convey our commitment to nature and our relationship with it—especially when we use it to progress while simultaneously distancing ourselves from it.
